OIL PRESSURE GUAGE HOSES
Oil pressure gauge hoses should always be replaced when restoring a car and every 10 years thereafter. Failure of an oil pressure hose will result in rapid loss of your engine’s oil quite possibly requiring major repairs to the engine. Additionally, a ruptured hose will spray hot oil all over the engine compartment and/or under your car’s dash panel.
